Street Food Hub will be attending the Street Food Business Expo at ExCeL London on 29 September, meeting traders, suppliers and industry professionals from across the sector
The Street Food Business Expo returns to ExCeL London on 29th and 30th September 2026, bringing street food operators, mobile caterers, suppliers and other food industry professionals together for two days of networking, ideas and business opportunities.
Street Food Hub will also be attending this year’s event as guests, following a successful visit to the Expo last year.
For us, last year’s event was a great opportunity to get out from behind the website and meet some of the people and businesses working across the street food and catering industry.
This year, we’re looking forward to doing it again — although we’ll unfortunately only be able to attend on Tuesday 29th September.
A Meeting Point for the Street Food Industry
A Meeting Point for the Street Food IndustryThe Street Food Business Expo is designed around the needs of street food and catering professionals, with exhibitors covering areas including equipment, technology, packaging, food and drink, services and business solutions.
For street food businesses, events such as this provide an opportunity to discover new suppliers, explore products and services and speak directly to companies working within the industry.
It’s also a chance to meet other food businesses and share experiences of running a business in what can be a challenging and constantly changing sector.
Street Food Hub Will Be There
We first attended the Street Food Business Expo last year and came away with a much better understanding of the range of businesses supporting the street food industry.
Since then, Street Food Hub has continued to develop its coverage of suppliers, equipment manufacturers, packaging companies, technology providers, events and the wider businesses supporting street food traders.
We’ll therefore be returning to ExCeL this year, attending on Tuesday 29th September.
As well as seeing what’s new, we’re hoping to meet the people behind the businesses exhibiting at the show, discover potential stories for Street Food Hub and hear directly from traders and suppliers about what is happening across the industry.
If you’re exhibiting or attending on the 29th, we’d love to have a chat.
We’re particularly interested in hearing about new products, developments within the industry, challenges facing businesses and the ideas that could make a difference to street food operators.
More Than Just an Exhibition
While exhibitions provide an opportunity to discover products and meet suppliers, some of the most valuable conversations can happen away from the stands.
A conversation with another trader can provide an insight into how they are dealing with staffing, events or the day-to-day challenges of running a food business.
Likewise, speaking directly with suppliers can help traders understand what new equipment, technology, packaging and services are becoming available to the industry.
For Street Food Hub, that’s one of the reasons we’re looking forward to returning.
We’re hoping to use the day to catch up with people we’ve met previously, make new connections and discover stories that we can bring back to our readers.
